We have had the new Wyndham Audio BR1 loudspeaker on the road over the last few months and the reception has been very encouraging from everyone who has heard these beautiful two way floorstanders.

The Wyndham Audio BR1 loudspeaker is a departure for us away from open baffle and full range driver loudspeakers and is a more conventional two way bass reflex design. We have taken this step because we have felt for a while now that there is a void in the market at the price point we have aimed for here, for a high quality, high performance two way loudspeaker.

In order to make sure we hit all our target parameters with this loudspeaker, we have enlisted the expertise of one of Australia’s foremost audio engineer and speaker manufacturer in Stuart Ralston from SGR Audio. The Wyndham Audio BR1 and soon to be announced Wyndham Audio BR2 [8” three way] was designed and developed by Stuart in collaboration with Wyndham Audio to arrive at a two way floorstander that we feel has a foot print smaller than most of the two way standmounts out there, but with far superior performance.

The 6” mid woofer delivers very deep, strong bass without any bloating, with the mid range being clean and smooth and the top end is simply delightful. We are very proud of what we have achieved in sound quality with the BR1 loudspeaker and we’re confident you’ll agree with us, once you have auditioned them.

We have had a great response from those that have heard the BR1s, especially during our recent road trip to SA. So far we've provided the BR1s in Black Butt, Jarrah and Blackwood real timber veneer and we are happy to also apply coatings in a wide variety of colours if customers prefer a painted finish to the timber veneer. Our first painted pair [see pic above] have been specially painted in Rolls Mahogany for us for the International HiFi Show and who better to get to apply this coating than Harry Ralston from SGR Audio. We believe Harry is the foremost cabinet coatings applicator in the business, so the choice was not a difficult one when we found Harry had the time to paint them for us.  

Apart from looking simply stunning, these BR1s sound sensational and they will be front and centre at the International Hi Fi Show in July, but if you're keen to hear a truly high end two way, that also has a smaller footprint than most of the much acclaimed two way standmounts out there, why wait for the show in July?
